FREE BACK-TO-SCHOOL IMMUNIZATION PROGRAM DEBUTS THIS SUMMER

(Houston, TX) – The Greater Houston Mobile Health Forum (MHF), which is facilitated by St. Luke’s Episcopal Health Charities, has developed a coordinated summer calendar for back-to-school immunizations and will release it to the public on Friday, June 27, at 9:30 a.m. at Community Family Center at 7524 Avenue E. Officials of the MHF are encouraging Houston parents to start the immunization process early and not wait for back-to-school deadlines to get their children protected from deadly illnesses.

WHAT: Free Mobile Health Summer Immunization Program (release of schedule and locations)

WHEN: Friday, June 27, at 9:30 a.m.

WHERE: Community Family Center at 7524 Avenue E (Off Harrisburg Blvd., southeast of downtown Houston)

*The Mobile Health Forum is a one-of-a-kind regional resource. No other metropolitan area in the nation has a group of 18 mobile units working together in a coordinated model for health delivery (including vaccine delivery), community preparedness outreach and emergency response.
