Scholar in Residence
The Charities’ Scholar in Residence program sustains the work of an established scholar with a demonstrated interest in Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) and underserved communities. Just as the Fellowship program awards a graduate student a grant, the Scholar in Residence program awards the selected researcher a two-year fellowship to foster the development and implementation of a community-based research program.
Candidates are selected based on the evidence of their practice, teaching expertise, completed research and publication of their studies.
